Feed a Hungry Child

IN MEXICO
In Mexico, nearly 18 million people are living in poverty and at least 500,000 Mexican children live on the streets. World Help is partnering with Grace Bible Church in Rosarito, Mexico, to help meet the needs of these orphaned and abandoned children in this Mexican community. Over 80 children are able to receive hot meals daily. Their meals include items like rice, meat, tortillas, and fruit. After the children eat, the church is able to provide transportation to school. These dedicated church members are not only meeting the physical needs of the children, but they are also able to show them the life-changing love of Christ.

IN HONDURAS
World Help has the privilege of partnering with Guarderia Infantíl Jesús Amigo de Los Niños (Jesus, Friend of the Children Daycare) in the country of Honduras. The daycare center provides for 510 children and focuses on feeding them one balanced meal a day and helping them with their school work. The children come to the center in two shifts each day, in the morning or afternoon, and for many it will be their only meal of the day. About 75 percent of the children they serve are orphaned, either with only one parent or no parents at all.

IN GUATEMALA
There are two Guatemalas. The first Guatemala is the one pictured in travel books or visited by tourists. The second Guatemala is the daily reality faced by the vast majority of the nation’s citizens. Polluted drinking water, severe malnutrition, no medical care, and minimal opportunities for education or work are the difficulties faced by these people.  Parents watch helplessly as their children waste away from simple malnutrition or easily preventable diseases. World Help is committed to helping our partner, Hope of Life Ministries, by feeding an average of 150,000 children and adults every day.
