Meet Genesis Patricia

ID: HNDJAN894

Genesis is a sweet girl who hopes to become a doctor when she grows up. For now, she is focused on working hard in school because she knows that is key to reaching her goal. She especially enjoys her science class. When Genesis isn’t studying, she enjoys spending her free time playing soccer with her friends.

Genesis has lived in poverty her entire life. Her father works as a bricklayer and her mother washes other people’s clothes, but their combined income isn’t enough for their family. Her parents work hard to provide for their daughter but are often not able to afford the essentials a child needs. Through sponsorship, Genesis will receive things like nutritious meals and educational assistance.

Through the help of a caring sponsor, Genesis will have hope for a brighter future. Most importantly, she will have the opportunity to hear about God’s love.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
