Gerson is a friendly, creative boy who can often be found drawing in his free time. He works hard to earn good grades in school, and it comes as no surprise that his favorite subject is art. When he grows up, Gerson hopes to make tasty treats as a pastry chef.
Gerson has lived in poverty his entire life. His father is a construction worker, and his mother sells tortillas out of their home. Yet despite their hard work, the combined incomes they earn aren’t enough to provide Gerson with his basic necessities. Through sponsorship, Gerson will receive things like nutritious meals and educational assistance.
Through the help of a caring sponsor, Gerson will have hope for a brighter future. Most importantly, he will have the opportunity to hear the message of God’s love.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
