Meet Ashly Yadira

ID: HNDJAN922

Ashly is a shy girl with a sweet personality. She excels in school and especially likes reading and writing in her Spanish language class. After she’s done with her homework, Ashly enjoys drawing beautiful pictures in her free time. With a compassionate heart, she wants to use her education to become a doctor one day.

Sadly, Ashly is no stranger to poverty. Her father puts in long hours at a warehouse, while her mother works hard as a housekeeper. Even with both parents working, their incomes are meager. As a result, they struggle to provide Ashly with her daily needs. Through sponsorship, Ashly will receive essentials like nutritious meals and educational assistance.

Through the help of a caring sponsor, Ashly will have hope for a brighter future. Most importantly, she will have the opportunity to hear about God’s love.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
