Meet Oliver Alexander

ID: HNDJAN931

Oliver is a friendly boy with a sweet smile. He loves making people happy, and he can often be found drawing pictures of his favorite things. Oliver is doing well in school and has taken a special interest in his math class. When he grows up, he dreams of becoming a professional soccer player.

Oliver is all too familiar with poverty. His father works in construction, while his mother sells candy for an additional income. Though both his parents work hard, they still struggle to make ends meet. As a result, Oliver often goes without his basic needs. Through sponsorship, Oliver will receive things like nutritious meals and educational assistance.

Through the help of a caring sponsor, Oliver will have hope for a brighter future. Most importantly, he will have the opportunity to hear the message of God’s love.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
