Calm and quiet, Kemigisha enjoys playing netball with her friends. Creative and introverted by nature, she loves drawing pictures and reading stories at school. In the future, Kemigisha has dreams of finishing her education and becoming a nurse. Poverty makes it difficult for Kemigisha to believe she will be able to achieve her dreams. Although her parents search for day labor and petty jobs in the village, they still struggle to afford basic necessities or an education for their children. Through sponsorship, Kemigisha will receive things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
