A bright, happy young girl with a heart for others, Hamirah can often be found singing as she goes about her day. She loves learning to count and discovering more in her English class. Hamirah dreams of one day becoming a nurse and helping sick people get better. Although Hamirah is very young, her life has already been affected by poverty. She lives with her grandmother who simply cannot earn enough to take care of her and send her to school to get an education.
