A bright, happy girl, Janet loves to be active. She can often be found singing songs she learned with her friends. Janet does well in school, and is enjoying learning how to count numbers. With a compassionate heart, Janet wants to someday become a nurse so she can take care of sick people. Janets life has been full of difficulties. Her father died in a car accident in 2015, leaving her mother alone with four children. Janets grandmother now works petty jobs to help care for the children, but they still often struggle to have enough.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
