Winnie is a quick learner with a quiet, humble spirit. She loves to sit and listen to stories, and looks forward to the day she can read all by herself. When Winnies not in school, she likes to play with her friends. One day, she hopes to become a lawyer and fight for justice. Winnies life has already been greatly impacted by poverty and tragedy. Her mother died very soon after she was born, so Winnies father had to raise her alone. Although he works very hard as a peasant, he often struggles to afford even basic needs.

Receive your welcome packet in the mail with more info on your child
Continue giving monthly or annually to meet your child's needs and write letters to stay in touch

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
