Mathias is an active and disciplined young boy who loves playing soccer. In his free time, he can almost always be found on the soccer fields with his friends. A bright student, he excels in all of his classes and enjoys his drawing class the most. Mathias dreams of one day becoming a teacher. Life has been difficult for Mathias ever since his father passed away from kidney failure. Responsible for all seven of her children, his mother struggles to take care of them and work enough in order to provide their necessities. Despite her hard work, Mathias often goes without many basic needs, and his school fees go unpaid. Through sponsorship, Mathias will receive things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.
