Betty is an outgoing young girl who loves playing netball with her friends. She enjoys learning new things at school, especially in her math class. With her passion for education, she hopes to become a teacher one day. When not in school, Betty helps her grandmother by washing utensils. Betty lives in a poverty stricken situation with her grandmother and sister. After her parents separated, both parents were unable and unwilling to take care of Betty and her sister. Their grandmother stepped in, but as a struggling peasant, it is almost impossible for her to make ends meet. Sponsorship will provide Betty with things like nutritious meals, durable clothing, and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
