Lucky is a hard-working young boy. He is diligent in his school work, and his favorite class is his art. When he is not devoting himself to his studies, he fetches water for his family or works to develop his soccer skills. With his outstanding work ethic, Lucky hopes to become a teacher one day. Lucky has lived in severe poverty for his whole life. His father works as a peasant taking care of other people?s animals and farming for domestic use. Since they are paid less than a dollar a week, it is impossible for him to provide everything his family needs. He is unable to keep Lucky in school and provided for. Through sponsorship, Lucky will now receive things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.
