Contribute to Vernon’s Christmas gift

Vernon leads us with his faithful dedication and passion for helping people around the world. He reminds us that while what we do is about helping the masses, it is more importantly about helping individuals.

During his recent trip to the Middle East, Vernon met one of those individuals — a refugee woman named Fatima. Fatima is suffering from an autoimmune disease that is causing her to go blind and become paralyzed on one side of her body. Doctors believe she can be healed with a six-month series of injections, which are very costly – the first 5 months cost $1,140 each, and the final month costs $400. As refugees, Fatima and her family have no way to pay.

Vernon personally donated the funds to pay for the first month of Fatima’s treatments, and donors who were on the trip with him provided for the next four months.

This year, we would like to give Vernon a Christmas gift that makes an eternal difference in someone’s life. As a World Help family, would you help us raise the money for the final month of Fatima’s treatments? If each staff member gave just $5, the cost of her care would be taken care of.

Please contribute any amount you can to help this family in honor of Vernon this Christmas.Thank you so much – we know this will mean the world to him.
