Help Nicaraguans in crisis

Help Nicaraguans in crisis

$25

Nicaragua was once called the safest country in Central America. But recent protests have turned violent, and about 450 people have died during the latest political upheaval. Many more remain caught in the conflict zones — and they need your help to stay alive.

As the violence continues to grow, the economy is declining, and many Nicaraguans have been laid off from their jobs. They struggle to afford food for their families. Those who have been injured don’t have access to proper medical care.

While we pray that the violence will end soon, the people of Nicaragua need practical, physical help if they are going to survive. You can make an incredible difference in the life of one person today by meeting his or her most urgent needs.

• $25 provides emergency food and medical aid for a person for two weeks
