Uganda Refugee Vocational School

Uganda Refugee Vocational School

Ongoing tribal warfare in South Sudan has displaced millions of people — forcing refugees to leave everything they know behind. Uganda has become a haven for those fleeing the violence, but few have the job skills or training they need to start a new life.

You can help these vulnerable people by contributing to the construction of a vocational school near a refugee camp in northern Uganda.

This school will give refugees the opportunity to master a new trade so they can start a business and provide for their families.

Classes in hairdressing, tailoring, welding and metal fabrication, and motorcycle repair will be offered, and upon graduation, each student will receive a tool kit that allows them to begin practicing their trade.

Your compassionate investment will give so many people skills they need to start fresh after experiencing the unthinkable. It’s an incredible gift!
