Itinerary Overview
Monday, September 25
The team will depart the U.S. from individual cities, meeting up en route to Bujumbura, Burundi.
Tuesday, September 26
The team will arrive in Bujumbura in the evening and be transferred to the hotel for the night.
Wednesday, September 27
The team will have the opportunity to visit our sponsorship program in Burundi and spend time with the children on campus. You will also spend the day with our partner and staff seeing various projects and the work being done.
Thursday, September 28 – Sunday, October 1
The team will spend Thursday morning visiting the local market and then will fly from Burundi to Entebbe, Uganda that afternoon for the final portion of the trip. During these days the team will visit and tour our Good Samaritan child sponsorship program, visit a church planted by students from the program, and see various local projects. After a final dinner on Sunday evening everyone will depart from the Entebbe airport.
Monday, October 2
Everyone to arrive home*.
*Optional two-night safari package available October 1 – October 5 for an additional $2,250/person (shared room). Those choosing to do the safari will fly to Nairobi, Kenya, on Sunday evening. They will spend the night in Nairobi before flying to the Masai Mara National Park for their safari package. More details on the safari can be found here.

*World Help handles all ticket purchases for each trip. We work closely with each participant to find the best options possible, and will ensure everyone is arriving and departing when needed. Cost will vary according to departure city. Cost of roundtrip ticket from U.S. to Africa not included in above trip cost.

• International ticket from the U.S. and back (approx. $1,900-$2,500)
• Passport fees, if applicable — passport should be valid for at least 6 months after trip dates
• Required and recommended immunizations, including the Yellow Fever Vaccine
• All items of a personal nature
