Join World Help on a trip down the Amazon River.
Travel with World Help’s President, Noel Yeatts, and other Leading & Loving It world changers into the heart of Peru’s Amazon jungle. This is a region possessing a wealth of indigenous cultures … but great physical poverty. The majority of families living along the river are extremely poor, and children often suffer from deadly malnutrition and parasites. This region is also known as the sex tourism capital of Latin America, putting numerous young girls and boys at risk. But this darkness means the light of Jesus can shine even brighter — and you can be part of it!
On this trip you will have the opportunity to:
- Take a boat excursion to visit remote villages along the Amazon River
- Visit Grace House, a home for girls recovering from physical and emotional abuse
- Worship at a local church in Lima
- Interact with local partners and visit projects built by World Help
- Learn more about how you can get involved
- Optional: Ride a train to the majestic, ancient ruins of Machu Picchu

Monday, June 22
Depart the US and fly into Lima where you will be transferred to a hotel for the night
Tuesday, June 23
The team will fly from Lima to Cusco and will check into the JW Marriott hotel in Cusco.
Wednesday, June 24
The team will take a train from Cusco and spend several hours touring the historic Inca ruins on Machu Picchu before returning to the city for the night.
Thursday, June 25
After a morning spent exploring historic Cusco, the team will fly back to Lima and meet up with the rest of the team that is flying in.

The team will fly into Lima, Peru and be transferred to a hotel for the night.
Friday, June 26 – Saturday, June 27
The team will fly to Iquitos, the jungle region of Peru, and spend time visiting World Help projects and villages along the Amazon River, and meeting with local pastors. Overnight at the Nina Rumi Campus. The team will fly back to Lima on Saturday.
Sunday, June 28
Attend church service in the morning and spend the afternoon at Grace Home. Check-in for flights and depart for home in the evening.
Monday, June 29
Everyone to arrive home.
