Required Travel Documents

1. WAIVER AND RELEASE // The Board of Directors requires this legal document for all trip participants, including staff. Parents/legal guardians of traveling minors will need to sign this document for them. Waivers are trip-specific and must be notarized.

2. ADVANCE MEDICAL DIRECTIVE // This is a legal document in which each trip participant specifies what actions should be taken for their health if they are no longer able to make decisions for themselves because of illness or incapacity. Parents/legal guardians of traveling minors will need to sign this document for them. Directives are trip-specific and do not need notarized.

3. BACKGROUND SCREEN // World Help is committed to the well-being of all the children in our ministries — including protecting them from sexual and physical abuse. Because most of our trips involve interaction with children, we require all trip participants ages 18 and older to go through a background-screening process.
