Build a Church
A church building means everything to a community of believers. It gives Christians a place to gather and worship, and provides a hub from which a congregation can meet the needs of their community. It’s also a clear landmark where seekers know they can go to find Truth.
But in many communities, Christians don’t have a church building and have to meet in homes. There is little room for growth, and it is difficult for seekers to find the gathering.
On Ishwa Island in Rwanda, the small body of believers struggled without a place to meet and worship. Thanks to a generous group of donors, the believers of Ishwa Island finally got the building they had prayed for. The church’s doors were opened for weekly services as well as community feeding programs. It helped feed both spiritual and physical hunger.
A church building is a place to worship, learn, and serve … and it’s a symbol of hope. And you can be the one to help provide it.
