Vocational Training

Many young people in developing countries can’t afford to finish high school, let alone go to college. Without an education, they are stuck in poverty.

But when you provide training in welding, tailoring, food production, cosmetology, or another high-demand field, a person is able to get a good job, provide for his family, and leap out of poverty!

That’s exactly what happened for Dembe. She had always dreamed of becoming a clothing designer. But without the proper training, she would never have the opportunity to open her own business.

Then, a generous donor helped her dreams become a reality. After graduating from vocational school, Dembe started her own tailoring shop. Now she is self-sufficient and is even helping pay for her siblings to go to school! Today, you can help someone else like Dembe by providing him or her the chance to attend vocational training.
