Vocational Training

Training and financial stability

Vocational Training

For young people growing up in poverty, finishing high school and attending college isn’t possible. They need to work in order to survive. But without an education, they qualify for only low-paying labor jobs, condemning them to a lifetime of poverty. When you provide a person with vocational training, you give him another choice like a career in welding, tailoring, food production, cosmetology, or another high-demand job. Because of your gift, he will be able to help his family escape poverty for good.

How your gift will be used

We promise to use your gift to make the greatest impact possible. If the need has been met for the gift you select, your donation will be used to provide similar aid in the same category or to help people most in need. For more information, check out our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Donation Policy: Your gift will be used exclusively for the exempt purposes of World Help, a 501(c)(3) organization, and should qualify as a tax-deductible charitable donation for federal income tax purposes. Gifts are considered to be without restriction unless explicitly stipulated by the donor. If funds are given for a particular project, and they exceed the need of that project, or, if due to unforeseen circumstances, such project, in the reasonable discretion of World Help, cannot be completed, any remaining funds will be used for other outreaches of World Help where they will make the greatest impact. You can access World Help’s full financial reports at worldhelp.net/financials. You may also request a hard copy, as well as descriptions of World Help’s programs, by calling 800-541-6691.
