Vernon Brewer founded World Help in 1991 with a vision to bring help and hope to people in need around the world — a calling shaped by a deeply personal journey. After surviving cancer, he sensed God had a mission for his life. That same year, World Help was born out of a growing awareness of the need to meet both physical and spiritual needs simultaneously to bring about true and lasting transformation. For 29 years, Vernon faithfully led the organization, laying the foundation for a global impact that continues today, having reached more than 90 million people in over 90 countries.
