What makes World Help different from other organizations?

We partner with local ministries around the globe who know the needs of their communities best. Watch the video below to hear from some of our partners about what we've been able to accomplish together with your support.

Our Partnership Model

What We Do

Did you know that World Help operates with a small staff of only about 60 employees here in the United States? Yet we've been able to impact people in more than 70 countries worldwide! How is this possible? Because we work alongside more than 85 amazing international partners. These partners are already established in the communities they are serving and are run by people from those countries. They understand the needs of their local communities far better than we ever could.

How We Do It

Our partners' biggest challenge is that they are so busy doing the hands-on work — feeding the hungry, spreading the Gospel, making sure children have an education, and more — that they often don't have the time to do the fundraising to keep their ministries running. That's where World Help and your generous giving come in. As we share the needs with you and you donate, these partners are able to continue providing physical help and spiritual hope for men, women, and children worldwide.

How It Makes Us Different

Coming alongside these global partners means that World Help, unlike many other organizations, doesn't have to spend millions of dollars building offices around the globe and staffing them with American employees. So more of your money goes directly to the people who need it. You can also be sure that every time you donate, your gift is being used to meet the most urgent needs of a community because those needs have been identified by people who actually live there.

Let's Go!

We DO We DON'T
Partner with established, trusted organizations worldwide that are run by people local to those communities
Build expensive international offices that would cost money that could otherwise be used to meet urgent humanitarian needs
Depend on our partners to identify what their communities' greatest needs are and how we can best help meet those needs
Decide for our partners what we think would be the best way to improve their communities based on our own views and opinions
Send funds to international partners as soon as possible after a disaster happens so they can immediately respond to the crisis
Have to wait to respond to a disaster until World Help staff arrive on the scene, which would delay how fast people can receive help
Recognize that local partners can best relate to and form relationships with the people in their communities, thus opening more doors to share the love of Christ
