“And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.” — John 6:11 (KJV)

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus often stopped and thanked His heavenly Father for His blessings.

Even on the night He was betrayed, Jesus took the time to give thanks for the bread they were breaking. Even though He knew His own body was about to be broken, Jesus thanked God for the simple blessing of having food to eat.

Watch this short devotional video from World Help president, Noel Brewer Yeatts, as she shares about the importance of giving thanks.

This time of year is all about giving thanks. And what better way to show your grateful heart than by sharing your blessings with others?

Every $14 will impact one person by providing food, clean water, and medical care as well as helping to meet other immediate needs.

Take time to thank God for your blessings this Thanksgiving and help people who desperately need food.
