How an empty Easter egg represents eternal hope: A video devotional

“And he said to them, ‘Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.” – Mark 16:6

Happy Easter from the World Help family!

Like most holidays, Easter is a very busy day for many families. In the morning, kids open their baskets while parents wrangle them into their Sunday best. After church, you might be off to an Easter egg hunt followed by dinner at a relative’s house.

In this short video, I’d like to share one of my favorite Easter traditions with you — a tradition that actually helps us take a moment and reflect on the true meaning of Easter.

The real reason we celebrate isn’t the Easter Bunny or days off school or work. It’s the hope of eternal life found through the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

Thank you for sharing this Good News around the globe and sharing God’s love with others by meeting their urgent needs all year round. I’m so glad you are part of the World Help family.
