Crisis Response
Every $50 you give provides help and hope to one disaster victim
Types of Crises You Will Help Respond To
Hurricanes
In the aftermath of a devastating hurricane, many people desperately need lifesaving essentials like food, clean water, clothing, and shelter to survive.
Fires
Men, women, and children impacted by house fires or wildfires need emergency relief as well as long-term support to help them recover and rebuild their lives.
Earthquakes
Countless people lose their homes and livelihoods to earthquakes each year. Your gift will provide them with critical resources in the wake of the destruction.
War
Refugees and displaced people often flee their homes with almost nothing as they escape from active warzones. They need resources like food, medical care, and trauma counseling.
How World Help Responds
By teaming up with international partners already active in their communities, we are often one of the first organizations to respond in the aftermath of a crisis. That means your gift will quickly reach the people who need it most and start providing help and hope immediately.
Recent Crises We’ve Responded To
Haiti
Haiti’s government and economy have collapsed, and gang violence has prevented many people from getting the essentials they need. We’ve responded by providing supplies like food, clean water, medical care, and more to sponsored children needing additional support in Haiti. World Help supporters have also helped fund additional security measures to keep the children safe.
Holy Land
After the deadly attack in the Holy Land in October 2023, World Help responded immediately by providing food, clean water, and other disaster supplies to people in need through a local Christian church. Now, we’ve teamed up with partners across the Holy Land and in Gaza to provide essentials to men, women, and children struggling to survive.
