Meet the Team

Noel Yeatts, President of World Help

Noel Yeatts is a passionate advocate for humanitarian aid and social justice around the world. With more than 20 years of experience, she has dedicated her life to championing people in need. Since becoming President of World Help in 2019, Noel has led the organization with both vision and firsthand experience, bringing help for today and hope for tomorrow to communities facing poverty and crisis. She is also a speaker and the author of several books, including Both: Living Outside the Either/Or of Your Faith.

Vernon Brewer, Founder of World Help

Vernon Brewer founded World Help in 1991 with a vision to bring help and hope to people in need around the world — a calling shaped by a deeply personal journey. After surviving cancer, he sensed God had a mission for his life. That same year, World Help was born out of a growing awareness of the need to meet both physical and spiritual needs simultaneously to bring about true and lasting transformation. For 29 years, Vernon faithfully led the organization, laying the foundation for a global impact that continues today, having reached more than 90 million people in over 90 countries. As an expert on Christian persecution, Vernon will engage your audience on what it means to be all-in for Christ.

Dr. Tom Thompson, Senior Vice President of World Help

Prior to World Help, Tom spent over 30 years as an itinerant evangelist and executive pastor of a large church in southern California. During the past 16 years with World Help, he has traveled to over 75 countries helping national partners train church planters and establish local churches. Tom’s experience in these countries and his passion for the Church around the world will challenge your congregation for high-impact ministry.

Cyrus Mad-Bondo, Church Relations Representative

Cyrus loves God unreservedly and delights in serving the least and the lost. He served for 10 years as World Help’s Vice President and Africa Chief Strategist and is currently serving as a Church Relations Representative. He has also worked as a pastor in the Washington, D.C. area. Cyrus is originally from the Central African Republic (C.A.R.) and has had opportunities to share the Gospel across Africa, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Central America, and Western Europe.

Our Financial Commitment

World Help is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law. Unless you specify otherwise, gifts are considered unrestricted. Donations designated for a specific project include a small administrative fee to help cover operating and fundraising costs. If a project receives more funds than needed, or cannot be completed, your gift will be used where it can make the greatest impact in support of World Help's mission.
