The village of Piedra Blanca in Guatemala had been completely cut off from civilization.
Landslides and flooding caused by Hurricane Eta had washed away roads and any hope of receiving help. Families have no power. No food. No water.
But that’s when help provided by donors like you literally flew in to the rescue.
Traveling by helicopter, our partners were able to land in Piedra Blanca and distribute aid to families there who were struggling to survive.
Because of sponsors and supporters, these families received bags of food that will help them though the aftermath of Hurricane Eta. Now, parents don’t have to worry about their children going to bed hungry.
But there are many other villages and families still waiting for help.
Hurricane Eta has killed livestock and destroyed farms. It will take months for agricultural communities to recover. In the meantime, you can stand in the gap and help meet immediate needs like providing food.
Your $50 will send emergency aid like food, clean water, and hygiene kits to one person in Guatemala.
Right now, people are sitting in half-destroyed villages cut off from the rest of the world. They’re wondering if help and hope will ever arrive.
Will you show you them that it will?
