Rwanda is a landlocked country in east Africa, where over 40 percent of the population lives in poverty. Because Rwanda is one of the most densely populated African countries, its agricultural industry can’t keep up with the increasing demands for food. The country is also still battling with the generational impact of the 1994 genocide that claimed the lives of nearly 20 percent of the population.
Many Rwandans live in extreme poverty and struggle daily with access to clean water, nutritious food, medical care, and education. World Help is working to meet critical needs in Rwanda by providing Bibles, educational assistance, food, clean water, and more.
