Vocational School Scholarships
How You can Help
Vocational training is often an incredible alternative to higher education for adult children who never went to school due to war and civil conflict. Your gift of a vocational school scholarship will help a young adult reach their potential through skills training, allowing them to care for their own families through small businesses and entrepreneurship.
$300 provides one year of vocational school
Millions of children in sub-Saharan Africa have been abandoned by AIDS, raised to adulthood in child-headed households or on the streets. For others, their childhoods were brutally stolen from them by Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army. Stripped of love, stability, and education, this generation is now fighting just to survive . . . while raising their own children.
We believe vocational training is one of the most effective ways to empower these young adults and single parents devastated by poverty, war, and disease. It equips them with the education and tools they need to lead their own small businesses or participate in cooperatives.
Provide vocational training and you empower entire families, restore dignity, cultivate a healthier society, invest in hope for the future, and so much more.
