“If God is for us, who can be against us?” — Romans 8:31b (NIV)
Here’s a truth that’s sometimes hard to admit — our plans don’t always work out how we want them to. Some days, our good intentions seem to fall apart, and we wonder why God allows them to fail.
But here’s another truth that gives us hope — God promises in Romans 8:31b that if we lay out our plans according to His will, He is always faithful to accomplish them.
This doesn’t always mean He will always carry them out the way we expect Him to. But we can trust that God knows best, His intentions are perfect … and nothing can stand in His way.
Watch this short devotional from World Help president Noel Brewer Yeatts to learn how God always fulfills His plans:
When we live to glorify God and follow His will, nothing will stop what He wants to accomplish through us. And on the other side of our failed plans, we can look back and realize that God’s plans were still achieved.
God promises that if we surrender ourselves to Him, He will work great things through us.
It’s also within His will that we love others and impact them for Christ. And when you give your best gift by March 31, you’ll be able to impact twice as many people thanks to a matching gift. That means you’ll give help and hope to more people in places like Burundi and beyond!
Your gift will provide desperate people with food, water, God’s Word, and more. Ultimately, you can trust that God will use your generosity to carry out His perfect will for those in need all over the world.
