One billion children in the world live in poverty—400 million of them lack access to clean water. A staggering 160 million children under the age of five suffer from malnutrition, and each year nine million die from preventable diseases.

Children of the World exists to change the world one child at a time by putting a face to the desperate needs of children whose lives have been devastated by civil war, famine, poverty, unclean water, and preventable diseases.
