Did you know that every box of lifesaving supplies we ship overseas starts with a volunteer?
World Help’s mission to provide help and hope worldwide wouldn’t be possible without the incredible volunteers who show up week after week to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Without their help, donated items would sit unused in our warehouse, unable to reach the people who need them most.
And as summer approaches, our need for volunteers is greater than ever. Just one hour in our warehouse can make a HUGE impact on people living in poverty.
Check out how volunteering for one hour will transform lives:
What Should I Expect When Volunteering with World Help?

Invite your friends and family to come volunteer with you at World Help
When you volunteer in our warehouse for the first time, you’ll start with a grand tour! This gives you a chance to get familiar with the space and see exactly where your impact begins.
After the tour, you’ll head to your volunteer station to help sort, count, and re-package donated supplies with other volunteers or World Help staff members.
You might handle items like clothing, personal hygiene products, school supplies, pillows, blankets, and more. Then, every one of these essentials will be shipped to someone living in poverty or recovering from a disaster.
On average, every hour you volunteer will ship $2,402 worth of supplies around the globe and impact 73 people!
Who Do I Help When I Volunteer?

Will you provide help and hope to people like Kathie around the world?
When you volunteer in our warehouse, you’ll play a direct role in providing essentials to people like Kathie.
Kathie is a young mother of two in Peru, with a third child on the way. Like any loving mother, Kathie always put her children’s needs before her own. She spends the small income she earns providing her kids with the essentials they need to survive.
That’s why the gift she received meant so much!
Through the dedication and hard work of our volunteers faithfully sorting and packing clothing, Kathie received a brand-new maternity dress just for her.
This simple gift did more than meet a physical need. It restored Kathie’s sense of dignity and reminded her that she is seen, valued, and deeply loved by Jesus Christ. She loved her new dress, and was so grateful to everyone who helped get it to her.
“Thank you so much for this dress,” Kathie said. “It is beautiful and it is the first gift I have ever received. God bless you!”
