At Journey Church International, making a global impact isn’t just a mission — it’s a calling rooted in Scripture.
They know God told His followers to share the Gospel and make disciples. And they recognize that this calling extends far beyond their home in Missouri.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus says, “Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation.”
This command, known as the Great Commission, is what drives Journey Church to reach beyond their local community and transform lives around the world. Church leaders also encourage everyone to discover their unique role in fulfilling the Great Commission!
Some answer the call by traveling around the globe to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus on the ground. Others contribute by sponsoring children or funding projects that transform lives such as churches, schools, wells, and family homes.
The Journey Church family doesn’t just talk about spreading the Gospel worldwide … they live it out by turning this calling into tangible actions.

Journey Church International first partnered with World Help in 2015. Since then, they have impacted the lives of 15,000 men, women, and children around the globe.
In the past decade, dozens of teams have gone on international trips. These world changers have transformed three communities in Guatemala and Uganda by providing clean water, schools, churches, and family homes.
Journey Church members also sponsor dozens of boys and girls, giving children living in poverty hope for a better, brighter future.
But their impact doesn’t end there.
Journey Church has supported medical outreach programs in Guatemala to fight against malnutrition, provided emergency supplies to refugees and displaced, transformed a community in Uganda, and so much more.
Just recently, a team from their church traveled deep into Peru to offer pastoral training along the Amazon River!
