Help Give Children in Uganda a Bright Future!

Buloba is a small community located on the outskirts of Kampala, Uganda’s capital city. Because of Buloba’s long and spiritually dark history, many residents don’t know or follow Jesus. They desperately need to experience God’s love through the power of help and hope. This community also suffers from high rates of poverty, and many of the children don’t have the resources they need to thrive. Because their families often struggle to afford essentials, most boys and girls eat only one meal a day. Sometimes, they don’t eat at all.

Leading & Loving It is teaming up with World Help to raise $23,000 to provide a year of weekly Sunday meals for 550 children and a new playground in Buloba. This consistent spiritual care will point these children to Jesus and the playground will provide a safe place where boys and girls can laugh, play, and simply be kids.

Every $45 will feed five children, support ongoing spiritual investment in their lives, and help build a new playground in their community — giving them fun for their hearts, food for their bodies, and faith for their souls.

Your donation will impact a total of 2,750 children and their family members in Uganda by giving them help for today and hope for tomorrow. And through your generosity, the children of Buloba will receive the resources they need to pursue a brighter future!

Leading and Loving It + World Help

Leading and Loving It has joined forces with the Christian humanitarian organization World Help with the courageous vision to help meet some of the most urgent needs of impoverished people around the world. Together, we have:

  • Provided medical care and nutritional meals to malnourished children
  • Invested in the next generation of world changers by providing classrooms and school supplies
  • Helped rescue women trapped in the sex industries of India and Thailand
  • Provided essentials to people pushed further into poverty after the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Gave emergency supplies to Ukrainian men, women, and children displaced by war
  • Transformed an entire community in Uganda by providing essentials like clean water and God’s Word.

In every project we undertake, the goal is always to meet both physical and spiritual needs simultaneously, offering a lifeline to people while also demonstrating the love of Christ.

Our Financial Commitment

Your gift will be used exclusively for the exempt purposes of World Help, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be considered tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under the federal tax laws. You should consult with your personal income tax advisor for more guidance about your individual tax situation. Gifts are considered to be without restriction unless explicitly stipulated by the donor. All restricted gifts for a specific project receive an administrative assessment, which is used to offset administrative and fundraising costs.

If contributed funds exceed the specific need of a project, or due to unforeseen circumstances the project cannot be completed, those funds will be used where they will make the greatest impact to fulfill the mission and purpose of World Help.
