Merry Christmas from Iraq

Vernon Brewer
Dec 25, 2014

On behalf of the entire World Help team, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for your support, prayers, and most of all, your passion to serve those in need around the world.

Today, I’m reminded, more than ever, that Christmas is about hope . . . hope amid suffering, hope amid persecution, hope . . . even in the middle of a war-zone.

As you gather together with your families today to celebrate the hope of our Savior, I urge you to remember our brothers and sisters desperately clinging to life in Iraq.

Please take a moment right now to watch this special Christmas greeting from Erbil, Iraq.

Pray for the peace of this nation. Pray for God’s hand of protection and provision. Pray that the hearts of the American church would be compelled to respond during this time of great need.

And if you can, please consider giving a special Christmas gift to these believers today. Any contribution—large or small—will go directly toward providing life-saving aid and relief in the form of food, water, heaters, bedding, medicine, and so much more.

This Christmas, I pray you’ll join me in being an agent of hope to those who have lost all hope.

May God richly bless you this holiday season.
