Vernon Brewer, founder and CEO of World Help, says explosive revival is happening in the Middle East, particularly in Iran and along the Syrian border.

“Last year alone, in this one clinic on the Syrian border, we saw 1000 Muslims become Christ- followers,” Brewer tells Charisma News in a podcast interview.

World Help partners with organizations on the ground to equip local residents with materials to serve their communities, including food, medicine and Bibles.

“When I asked [the clinic volunteers] what’s their evangelistic method, they said, ‘We don’t have an evangelistic strategy,'” Brewer says. “They said, ‘All we do is show them the love of Jesus, and Christ meets their needs.'”

The clinic volunteer told Brewer, “One by one, they ask to speak to us in private, and the theme is the same. ‘Why are you doing this? Why are you so different? How can I have what you have?'”

Brewer says, “I just believe that it’s the love of Jesus Christ that’s drawing men and women to Him like a magnet.”

In Iran, he says people are coming to faith at historic rates.

“There’s not even enough Bibles to keep up with the growth in the underground church,” Brewer says.
