The eyes of the world have once again turned to the Korean peninsula as the 2018 Winter Olympic Games approach. As athletes arrive in PyeongChang, South Korea, for the competition, Vernon Brewer joined the nationally syndicated Eric Metaxas radio show to remind listeners about the persecution Christians face in North Korea.
Vernon sat down with Eric in his New York studio to discuss issues such as South Korea’s desire for reunification, life in North Korean labor camps, and what the American church can do to help.
“There are no nominal Christians in North Korea,” Vernon said. “You are totally dedicated, sold out, ready to die for your faith. When you stop and think that for $10 you can print and distribute a Bible to a North Korean Christian who is willing to die to read that Bible, that’s the greatest gift we can give.”
