Your help needed: Hurricane relief in Cuba and Haiti

“There is still no electricity … it is a rural, mountainous area. The homes are made of wood and the roofs are thatch. The winds were very strong and the city was destroyed,” our team member in Cuba said.

Reports continue to come in of the devastation Hurricane Matthew has caused in Cuba and Haiti. The death toll has risen to well over 800 in Haiti alone, and many more are left to pick up the pieces the storm left in its wake. Our in-country teams shared that villages are completely destroyed and homes, schools, and churches are demolished.

Will you provide lifesaving aid to a family in need for only $50?

Rebuilding efforts will be critical, but first the people affected must survive the coming days, weeks, and months. Today, vulnerable men, women, and children are left without even basic necessities like food, shelter, and water.

A flight with immediate aid is going out today with protein bars, water filters, food, and large tarps. But these supplies won’t last long. The people of Haiti and Cuba are in desperate need of additional supplies.

We have the means to provide aid for them, but we need your help to send it.

For as little as $50, you can provide a month’s worth of lifesaving aid to a family in need. Your $50 can make all the difference for a family in a time of devastation and uncertainty. You can be an active answer to their prayers today.

Please continue to pray for those affected and prayerfully consider giving as generously as you can. Your gift may be the difference between life and death for a family in need.

Your donation of $50 will provide food, water, and other critical supplies to those worst hit by Hurricane Matthew.
