“A bigger disaster than coronavirus"

South Asia has already taken a beating because of the coronavirus. Now this destructive storm has made everything worse.

Even West Bengal’s state chief minister, Mamata Banerjee, has said the devastation is “a bigger disaster than Covid-19.”

No power in the city, roads are badly damaged, and many trees have been uprooted water logging in many places in the city.”
