Marcos is a cheerful young man who can usually be found playing soccer with his friends. He enjoys going to school and works hard to get good grades. His favorite subject is mathematics. When he grows up, Marcos hopes to become a professional soccer player.
Marcos is no stranger to poverty. He lives at home with his grandmother, two parents, and older sister. For work, his mother works as a vendor in the marketplace. Though she works hard, her income isn’t enough to provide for Marco's necessities and education. Through sponsorship, Marcos will receive things like nutritious meals and educational assistance.
