Rohluopui is a quiet girl who likes to spend her time reading and dancing, although she will occasionally join a game of soccer with her friends. She loves learning new things and particularly enjoys improving her English. Rohluopui hopes that she can become a nurse when she grows up so she can help sick people in her community feel better. Rohluopui is very familiar with poverty. When her father died from cancer, her mother struggled to provide for her on her own. She made only meager wages as a laborer and often missed work due to illness, so she decided to take Rohluopui to a children's home for a better life. Now, sponsorship gives her access to a quality education and nutritious meals.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
