Yashika is a sweet young girl with a friendly personality. When she is not busy studying for her classes or completing homework assignments, she enjoys playing outside with her friends. With great ambition, Yashika has dreams of one day using her knowledge of math to work with taxes. Yashika is certainly no stranger to poverty. Her father labors each day as a farmer on another man?s land; however, despite his best efforts, he earns a meager income and struggles to provide for his family?s needs. Her mother stays at home to take care of the children and cannot help financially. Sponsorship now gives Yashika access to things like a quality education and nutritious meals.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
