Meet Jedeiah Shyne

ID: PHLHTP099

Chinchin is an outgoing girl who loves reading books and playing volleyball with her friends. Eager to learn, she works hard in all of her classes at school, but she especially enjoys solving problems in her math class. When Chinchin grows up, she hopes to become a nurse to help the sick and hurting in her community.

Chinchin is all too familiar with the effects of poverty. Her parents are both farmers and spend their days planting rice and root crops. However, after feeding their large family, there are usually very few crops left over to sell. They struggle to provide their children with everything they need. Sponsorship will provide Chinchin with things like nutritious meals and educational assistance.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
