It’s hard to believe Christmas is already behind us. You’ve hung lights, wrapped gifts, and hugged loved ones. You’ve celebrated the joy of Christ’s birth. For many of us, it’s been a season of hope, laughter, and joy.
For the people of Nepal, this Christmas marks the beginning of their first winter since devastating earthquakes ripped the country apart in April. Winter clothes and supplies are still buried under the rubble of their homes, and for many, reconstruction seems like a distant dream.
Through your faithful giving, we have accomplished God-sized tasks in Nepal this year. Thank you for partnering with us to reach these hurting and largely forgotten people!
Though we have been able to make a significant impact, our work in Nepal isn’t finished.
Will you continue helping us bring restoration to Nepal? Your partnership allows us to provide life-saving humanitarian aid and critical supplies for winter, in addition to rebuilding churches, children’s homes, schools, and family homes.
One project completed this year was the reconstruction of Ketu Christian Boarding School:
We were very sad when our school was badly destroyed by the earthquake. Now, our school has been reconstructed. We are very thankful and grateful to World Help for rebuilding our school. Our school is very dear to us and if it was not reconstructed, we would have lost our hope. – Isha Timalsina
In the midst of destruction, hope is being restored! Since World Help started distributing aid, we’ve provided food, clothing, tents, and medical aid to more than 50,000 people. Our national partners have also seen more than 900 people come to Christ.
We could not have accomplished any of this without your support! Your involvement has, and is continuing to make, a true and lasting difference.
Time is running out for the 2015 year—don’t miss your chance to make a year-end gift!
