As a result of the enthusiastic response from sponsors, your sponsored children enjoyed an incredible celebration filled with delicious food, an entertaining puppet show, and fun games. The children also received gifts such as clothing, blankets, and personal hygiene items, which they opened with delight and gratitude.
Their special celebration also included a talent show run by boys and girls who performed dances, skits, and songs for their family, friends, and community members that gathered around to cheer and encourage them in their talents. Parents enjoyed watching their children show off their skills as the performances were not only dedicated to the parents, but also to God.
As the parents volunteered their time to prepare and cook the meal, the children loved spending time in fellowship with one another through playing some of their favorite games. Once the food was ready, they all enjoyed an eagerly anticipated Christmas meal with all the trimmings and special treats.
During this time, they also took the opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas . . . the true source of hope and love that God brought to us through the birth of Jesus.
Through the support of our faithful sponsors, the children thoroughly enjoyed this special Christmas celebration. The Christmas cards and gifts the children opened from their sponsors reminded them of how much they are truly loved and cared for. Thank you for your dedication to the children in our sponsorship programs in the Philippines.
