We like to keep you updated about what your sponsored child and other kids in the program have been up to over the past year … all because of your compassionate giving. And since the holiday season was just a short time ago, we thought you’d like to know how your support made Christmas extra magical for your sponsored child this past year.

A Christmas packed with fun

December was a month of celebration with the highlight being Christmas.

The children performed a dance routine they had learned, and they all did great with the choreography. Many of the kids also participated in a Christmas play. They were excited to get dressed up in their costumes, memorize their lines, and perform what they had practiced for all of their friends and family. After a puppet show, the afternoon program concluded with a visit from Santa Claus — which all of the children loved.

Afterward, the children and some of their visiting parents enjoyed a delicious lunch together, followed by the kids receiving a special Christmas present. Those with birthdays in November or December also received additional presents. Then, it was picture time! The kids all had big smiles in their photos from the wonderful day of fun.

It was definitely a day that all of the children will be sure to remember.
