Taking action: Generous donors helped thousands in the midst of crises

The past few months have been filled with crisis after crisis. From the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan to the deadly earthquake in Haiti to the surge of coronavirus cases around the globe, so many people are struggling to survive.

But generous World Help donors didn’t just sit on the sidelines. They took action by providing help and hope for people who needed it most.

Here is a snapshot of how the World Help family has been making a difference:

Afghanistan

Delivered emergency food, clean water, and other critical aid to 6,000 people

Provided medicine and treatment for more than 500 patients at the mobile clinic

Haiti

Provided food, clean water, tents, and generators for families left homeless by the earthquake

Helped 200 injured men, women, and children receive quality medical care

India

Provided oxygen concentrators and monitors for overwhelmed hospitals

Helped equip a small Christian hospital that can now treat 100 patients at once

Other countries around the world

Provided clean water for more than 4,600 people

Shipped lifesaving supplies to nearly 178,000 people

Helped fund construction of a new church building in South Asia

Helped establish a new sponsorship program in Burundi for 30 children
