Volunteer With Us
Help ship lifesaving supplies around the world
You can play a vital role in sending help to people in need worldwide. World Help receives more than 1 million pieces of donated clothing, medical equipment, packages of food, and other lifesaving aid each year. But these supplies must be counted, sorted, and packed in our distribution center in Forest, Virginia, before they can be shipped to the people waiting for them. That’s why volunteers like you are essential!
On average, every hour you volunteer helps ship $1,929 worth of aid and impacts 49 people!
- Sorting and counting clothes and shoes by size and type
- Preparing and testing medical equipment
- Assembling hygiene and emergency kits
- Packaging and labeling boxes of relief supplies
- Loading and unloading trucks
Please email volunteers@worldhelp.net for more information or to sign up to volunteer.

“Having lived in a poor and underserved country as a volunteer before, I know that donated clothes, medical supplies, and other necessities work miracles in the lives of those who are in need.”

Child Sponsorship Volunteer
Help connect sponsors with the children they support by sorting and processing correspondence. Because children treasure receiving letters and cards from their sponsors, this role brings encouragement and joy to boys and girls around the world. Volunteers may also assist with writing thank-you notes and other donor communications.
