You won’t read this story in the news

You’ve probably been hearing about North Korea in the news recently — stories about test-firing ballistic missiles and even the possibility of war becoming a concern.

But I want to tell you a different story. This is the story you’re not seeing in the news: Right now, persecuted believers in North Korea are desperate — willing to risk their lives — for the chance to have their own copy of God’s Word.

And you can help provide the answer to their prayers.

For just $10, you can place a Bible in the hands of a North Korean Christian facing brutal persecution.

While the world is focused on North Korea’s missiles, Christ-followers are undergoing physical and psychological torture for crimes such as meeting for church, owning a Bible, or sharing the Gospel.

Every day, Christians pray they won’t be stopped and searched by the police. If their Bibles are discovered or someone accuses them of being a Christian, they will face immediate retribution.

They’ll be interrogated for hours. Beaten. Thrown into jail or a labor camp. They may never see their family again … or they may be immediately killed. Just owning a copy of the Bible is a terrible risk — but despite the danger, there are never enough Bibles to meet the demand of believers who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

The news often portrays all of North Korea as our enemy. But it’s important to remember that many of our brothers and sisters in Christ live in North Korea — struggling to live out their faith in a hostile environment. And you can help!

The people are more open to the Gospel today than ever before. In the midst of conflict, missile testing, and uncertainty, they are searching for eternal hope. That’s why I’m asking you to give right now — today! For $10, you can give one person the Bible he has been longing for.

We cannot ignore the men, women, and children who are suffering for their faith … who are desperate for their own copy of the Bible. You may think there’s nothing you can do to help during such a critical and tense time. But while the political climate remains uncertain, you can send grace to North Korea.

When we look back on this time in history, are we going to remember international worry that’s centered on North Korea? Or are we going to remember that we decided to do something for the bruised, broken, and forgotten church?

There’s never been a greater time to send Bibles to North Korean Christians and seekers. As believers, we — you and I — are called to be the light of the world. Today, you can bring light to one of the most spiritually dark places on earth with the gift of God’s Word.

A simple, life-changing gift of a Bible can mean everything to someone in the worst circumstances imaginable.

Our extensive distribution network can smuggle Bibles into the hands of people who want them. But we need you to provide the Bibles!

God has opened so many doors to reach the people of North Korea with the Good News, despite what you hear from the news media.

It’s just up to you and me to walk through those doors.
