Meet Thangthalien

ID: INDGCP488

Thangthalien is an energetic boy who loves everything related to soccer. He can often be found playing on the soccer field with his twin brother or drawing pictures of his favorite players. Thangthalien is also a very talented student who excels in math and science and dreams of becoming a scientist when he grows up. Thangthalien has experienced much pain and poverty in his life. When his father died from tuberculosis, his mother was unable to provide for her four children on her own, so she decided to take them to a children's home where they would receive better care. Sponsorship now gives Thangthalien access to things like a quality education and healthy meals.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
